Texas Property Tax Code Sec. 1.086 allows taxpayers to request to receive their appraisal notices and other communications electronically.

Homestead Exemption Qualification Review – 09/30/2024
Section 11.43 (h-1) Texas Property Tax Code, passed by the 88th Legislature and made Effective 9-1-2023, now requires each residential property with a homestead exemption be confirmed by each county appraisal district that the property still qualifies for the homestead exemption once every 5 years.
Freestone CAD has contracted with the Linebarger Law Firm to review the homestead exemptions filed in Freestone County and to perform inquiries, communicate with property owners, and validate qualifications.
If you receive a letter or communication from Linebarger, please respond to them.
